My Story
Hi there! Delighted to meet you here! My name is Jingyi, but feel free to call me Ginny. I’m currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Global Communications at the University of Melbourne. Over the past four years, I've been immersed in the world of Journalism and Communication in Macau, China, and graduated with First-Class Honors.
For three years, I've written and managed the official WeChat public website, delivering the latest campus news to students and teachers. As the founding online editor of MUSTLOOK, a campus column magazine, I built it from the ground up, creating its content and social media strategy. In addition, I took on the role of a digital editor for the government’s public relations department, managing their digital accounts and writing community news. During this stint, I published a total of 50 news pieces, each garnering over 6,000 views.
Alongside my experience as an editor, I have ventured into the realm of marketing communication. At Savills, one of China’s top five real estate giants, I played a key role in crafting press releases and devising marketing plans. Additionally, I immersed myself in project management, taking charge of branding initiatives and strategic planning.
I consider myself a professional polymath, dabbling in email marketing, copywriting, press releases, video shoots for social media, and graphic design. This portfolio showcases my multidisciplinary expertise through various examples: published reports, media releases, revised blog posts, visuals, videos, and photographs. You'll see how I specialize in developing and delivering coherent, impactful communications campaigns across multiple channels, including live events, social media, websites, newsletters, presentations, and surveys.
